10 Raspberry Pi (SBC) based Products

Without a doubt, Raspberry Pi is a great initiative and a great embedded computer board for education and for the makers. But, there are many limitations that make it a less likely choice for a commercial product. If you are interested to learn those aspects, read here.

Inspite of those limitations when I did detailed research online, I found various products based on the Raspberry Pi Board(SBC). Hope the information presented here is helpful for you.

4. Fanless Embedded Controller

The emPC-A/RPI is a compact, fanless embedded controller based on a standard Raspberry Pi 2 B board, but with Janz Tec custom additions to implement additional features needed for industrial applications.

6. Andino X1

The Andino X1 is a microcontroller board in a DIN rail housing. It is used to adapt digital inputs and outputs for a maximum voltage of 24 volts. The X1 has its own microcontroller, a signal preprocessing and adaptation of signal generators and actuators. Optionally, a Raspberry Pi (Model B) computer board can be plugged in. The communication between the microcontroller and the Pi takes place via the UART interface.


7. Andino X2

The X2 includes both the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and an Arduino compatible microcontroller (ATMega164P with 12Mhz). The microcontroller enables the precise pre-processing of data and signals and the adaptation of hardware interfaces. Together with the integrated Power supply (84V..230V AC), it is a complete small industrial PC.
