ST Microelectronics has a lot of interesting MCU families and I myself have developed many projects using those like STM32F0, STM32L0 and STM32F4 for various application like Cinematographic LED Light Controllers, Low Power RF Remote, Industrial Data loggers, etc.
They have great features and have good balance between price and performance. STM32 MCUs in various families are also mostly compatible from code and pin-outs point of view. Very little modification is required to migrate from one family to other.
Recently, I was browsing internet in search of a development board for STM32H7 Series MCU and found this board, quite interesting. It has lot of features onboard and costs <25$ only. I hope you too will find it interesting for some of your future projects.
It uses a STM32H750VBT6 MCU, high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 32-bit RISC core operating at up to 480 MHz and it has 128 KBytes Flash, 1 Mbyte of RAM: 192 Kbytes of TCM RAM (inc. 64 Kbytes of ITCM RAM + 128 Kbytes of DTCM RAM for time critical routines), 864 Kbytes of user SRAM, and 4 Kbytes of SRAM in Backup domain.
Features:
- Built-in CH340 USB to UART for serial interface and flashing the program
- 2x USER LEDs
- 4x Keys
- OLED/LCD interface connector
- 8MHz Crystal Oscillator
- 32.768 Khz Low Frequency Oscillator (RTC)
- AT24C02 EEPROM
- 16M bit SPI FLASH
- Reset circuit
- ON/OFF Button
- RTC Battery Holder
- SD Card Connector
- All IOs breakout on the connectors
Other Parameters:
- Working Voltage: 3.3V
- Operating Temperature:-20℃~85℃
- Operating Humidity:5%~95%RH
